It has an estimated range of up to 233 miles on a single charge and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Polestar 3 - a fully electric SUV that is expected to launch soon. Polestar 4 - a fully electric crossover that is rumoured to debut in late 2023 or early 2024. It will compete with the Tesla Model Y and other compact electric SUVs. It will likely have a similar platform and technology as the Polestar 2.
Yes, Polestar has one hybrid car: the Polestar 1. It is a plug-in hybrid coupe that combines a gasoline engine and two electric motors. It has an electric range of up to 78 miles and a total range of up to 540 miles.
Polestar cars are very safe according to multiple safety tests. The Polestar 2 has a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating and builds on more than 90 years of groundbreaking safety research by the Volvo Car Group. It comes equipped with the latest protective and preventive technology, such as collision mitigation, blind spot information system, cross traffic alert, lane keeping aid, pilot assist and more. The Polestar 2 also has multiple radar and camera units that make it very aware of its surroundings.
There are many electric cars that can be considered as alternatives to Polestar. Some of the most popular ones are Tesla Model 3, VW ID.3, BMW i4 and Porsche Taycan.
To choose the right Polestar, you need to consider your needs, preferences and budget. Some questions you can ask yourself are: What car size do you need? Do you need a lot of space for passengers or cargo? What features do you want? Do you value performance, efficiency or comfort?
With a car subscription service, you can drive a Polestar without owning or leasing it. You pay a monthly fee that covers insurance, maintenance, taxes and other costs. You can also switch cars or cancel anytime. This type of subscription is flexible and convenient for people who don’t want to commit to a long-term contract or deal with administrative hassles.

Polestar is a new performance brand launched by Volvo Cars and has been producing high-performance versions of selected Volvo cars since 2013.
Polestar was founded in 1996 as a tuning company by racing driver Robert Dahlgren and Christian Dahl, who is still the CEO today.
In 2000, Polestar started to produce road cars under the name Polestar Performance AB, but this venture was not successful so it was closed down in 2006.
After several years of absence from the market, Polestar returned in 2013 with its first production car called Polestar 1. This electric hybrid coupe was produced in China by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co Ltd (owner of Volvo Cars).
The next model, an all-electric sedan, called Polestar 2 is produced in Belgium using battery cells from LG Chemicals Inc., a South Korean company that supplies batteries for many electric vehicles including Tesla Inc.'s Model 3 sedan. It is now one of the most popular EVs in the UK.
